Returns & Refund Policy

Overview

This Returns and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which Khokhar Traders accepts returns of building materials, paint, hardware, and other products purchased from our shop or delivered to your address in Jhelum, Punjab, Pakistan. We aim to be fair and transparent — if a product is damaged, defective, or short-supplied, we will replace it. If you simply changed your mind, we offer returns on a restricted basis as explained below.

Return Eligibility

You may request a return within 7 days of delivery for the following items, provided they are in their original condition:

  • Cement bags — unopened, with the manufacturer's seal intact, and the bag itself undamaged. Opened cement bags are non-returnable because cement begins to absorb moisture once exposed to air.
  • Paint cans — unopened, with the factory seal intact, and the can undented. Mixed or tinted paint is non-returnable because it was prepared specifically for your project.
  • Hardware items — hinges, locks, handles, tower bolts, fittings, and accessories in their original packaging with all components included.
  • Tiles — in original boxes, undamaged, with no signs of installation or grout residue.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances due to their nature:

  • Steel bars (saria) cut to custom lengths — once cut, they cannot be resold
  • Mixed or tinted paint prepared to your specified colour
  • Sand, crush (bajri), or other loose aggregates delivered in bulk
  • Special-order products sourced specifically for your project
  • Items damaged after delivery due to improper storage, handling, or installation

Return Process

To initiate a return, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact us within 7 days of delivery by phone or WhatsApp at +92 331 5083 648, or email at khokhartradersjlm@gmail.com. Provide your order number and the reason for return.
  • Step 2: Our team will inspect the items either at your address or at our shop, depending on the quantity and nature of the return.
  • Step 3: Once approved, we will process the refund or exchange within 7 to 14 business days.

Refund Methods

Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method:

  • Cash payments — refunded in cash at our shop or by bank transfer to your account
  • Bank transfers — refunded to the original bank account within 7 to 14 business days
  • Mobile wallet (JazzCash, Easypaisa) — refunded to the original wallet within 3 to 5 business days

A restocking fee of 10% of the product value applies to all approved returns, deducted from the refund amount. This covers the cost of inspection, repackaging, and returning the product to inventory.

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or short-supplied, please report it to us within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace the affected product at no charge, or issue a full refund including the restocking fee waiver. Damaged cement bags (torn or wet), dented paint cans, or visibly defective hardware qualify for immediate replacement.
